THE GUIDELINES
These are to be followed, as they may change frequently. We have the right to change these rules as frequently as new rules are needed to be made.
JOINING.
Names need to be first last in all capital letters. we have something to automatically transform them, but we still require you to change it. as it varies upon how much the styled name plugins goes.
read all of this thread, and the other guides you find within this board. they are each important.
know that we are au, but we are not quite as far off from the show as you think. you know how big of a difference the show is from the books? Well, we're not that au.
make sure that your claims, or canon are available before joining. it's not our fault that you didn't check.
respect everyone, even as a guest. we require respect, or you may end up banned.

we will have activity checks monthly, and when a member's account isn't safe at the end of the check. they will be stripped of their member group. for one month they will remain on the site. the next activity check will be the time they are removed.

if you take a canon character, and want a second canon they are not allowed to frequently interact. such as, taking two mikaelsons', or taking elena and stefan. it's not nice to hog canons, and it's annoying to rp with yourself.
Nothing too sadistic, but we understand that tvd is known for it's crazy characters'. we'll let you know if you're a little to far past our limit.

we require that signatures do not stretch the page, and that the overall height of your signature area can be no larger than 350 pixels. our avatars' are 200x300.
nothing nude, as nudity is prohibited on proboards.

CONTENT.

content is not supposed to go above a pg-13 rating. however, tvd is quite an explicit show. so as long as you don't describe in great detail, and when it comes to actually doing intercourse type scenes you do need to fade to black.
we have no-word count, so don't feel pressured. we near verge into rapid fire for those bigger threads'. sometimes we prefer rapid fire, but if you hate rapid fire feel free to post your own length. just don't be upset to have short replies. not everyone has the same abilities.
